I Have A Name Pen Pal School Project
Conducted within the school system as a service project with educational projects which encompass art projects while folding in geography and connecting students in a pen pal format with the students in Arandis, Namibia.
Among schools who have participated are:
- Apopka Elementary School in Orange County, FL;
- Goldsborough Elementary School in Seminole County , FL.;
- Starke Elementary School in Volusia County , FL .
- St. Elizabeth Ann Seton’s Catholic School Palm Coast, FL;
In Nov. 2009 Board Member Kathy Morganelli visited with Miss Gavagni's 5th grade class at St Elizabeth Ann Seton’s Catholic School in Palm Coast, Florida. We did the “I Have a Name” pen pal project showing them Namibia and the Talitha Kumi Children making bracelets in Namibian Colors and sharing information of the children and the country. Pictured behind Kathy is the quilt made of the artwork of the Namibian students of Talitha Kumi Christian Academy.

Participants make their own You-nity bracelets in small group setting providing participants with information on the missions of His Promise Ministries . Each one can reach one.
